WITH CIVIL DEFENCE QATAR
Al Hamad Trading & Contracting Est WLL, supplier of specialised
vehicles in Qatar, signed a
contract with Qatar Civil Defence Department for supply of Force Entry
vehicle (Arm Strong) worth QR7m.
The contracts were signed by Civil Defence Logistic Department Director
Lt Col Hussain Ibrahim Al Asmakh and Al Hamad Trading Sales and
Marketing Manager KTK Mohammad.Civil Defence Logistic Department
Assistant Director Major Ahmed Abdulla Al Abdullah also attended the
function.
Major Al Abdulla said this is a special purpose built vehicle for
firefighting application with foam, water and Dry Powder. The piercing
nozzle provides danger free ventilation and creates rapid entry
channels into structures etc.

IN QATAR
Alhamad Trading & Contracting Est WLL, a leading technical

Seminar on Power Quality at the Radisson Blu Hotel in partnership with
Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen Germany. Alhamad General Manager Manoj
Megchiani inaugurated the Seminar, while Senior Manager Abdul Rahman
welcomed over 100 delegates from Kahramaa, Power Consultants,
Q-Industries, Electrical Contractors and University Research &
Energy Conservation Departments, giving them an insight into pressing
issues of Power Quality in today's scenario, which have not been
addressed adequately in the past by Industries in Qatar.
Power Quality affects most of the Electrical Assets of Medium and Heavy
Industries, Utilities, Malls, Railways and Metro Lines, as well as
process industries. Mr. Heiko Markgraf and Dr. Mike Ifland of
Reinhausen Germany explained the phenomenon of Power Quality, and
offered technical solutions to protect Electrical Assets belonging to
Industries, as addressed Transmission and Distribution Efficiencies for
Utilities & Industries. Alhamad currently offers products and

supplier of specialized vehicles in Qatar signed a contract with the
logistic department of the Ministry of Interior for supply of 25
numbers of different types of fire fighting vehicles and equipment,
adding more capacity of the fleet including rapid intervention vehicles
and other sophisticated specialized vehicles.
The contracts were
signed by Logistic department director Brigadier Hisham Ibrahim Al
Qusaibi and Manager (Sales & Marketing) K.T.K. Mohammad of Al
Hamad Trading Est.
General Directorate of
Civil Defence’s Logistic Department director Lt. Col Hussain Ibrahim Al
– Asmakh, MOI logistic department procurement officer Maj Khamis Saif

function.
Brigadier Al-Qusaibi
said the vehicles are to be supplied in phase over a period of 16
months and the contract includes three years warranty and 10 year after
sales services.

Consultancy Services for High Voltage Equipment, recently completed a
comprehensive Training on Partial Discharge Monitoring of Transmission
Substations as part of an ongoing project with Kahramaa. Team Members
of Kahramaa's Asset Management Department actively participated in the
Training. Alhamad Trading's General Manager Mr. Manoj Megchiani

training.
